Baby, It’s Getting Hot Out There!!!

Cool For The Summer, Shorts And Matching Cropped Top!

Summer Fashion For 2018

Sorry ladies, Santa is absolutely nowhere in sight!  What is around, however, is the gorgeous sweltering heat, with temperatures in the UAE soaring up to the low 40-degree mark! I’m hoping it doesn’t get any worse from here!

The pressing question, however, is how do we deal with the heat and still manage to look fashion forward, and as if we have no idea what the S-word, sweat is!

Cue The Fashion Havildar, to the rescue!

Pastel Attack

Just like our favourite desserts keep us cool for the summer months, the colours of these ice cool treats have also made it to the runways to make for one of the coolest trends for the summer!  Seen at the catwalks of Preen and Celine, this is definitely one trend that you need in your wardrobe now!

Bold/Crayola Colours

Another way to ensure your wardrobe is ready for the summer is to add a pop of colour. Bold or Crayola colours as they’re affectionately known amongst the fash pack are all the rage on the catwalks.  They’ve been seen everywhere from Christopher Kane, to Roksanda Ilinic to Balenciaga.

Puff Sleeves

The 80’s are back in a big way this summer.  However don’t be scared, we’re not talking about the oversized denim jackets and shoulder pads, more the subtle rouging on the sleeves of tops, to add a break of summer fun to everyday dressing! They’ve been spotted everywhere from Off-white, Givenchy and Saint Laurent.

Suit Shorts

Shorts normally reserved solely for the summer months have undergone a bit of a transformation.  Introducing the POWER SHORTS!  This re-vamp allows these breathable beauties to be worn from day to night, not just at the beach. Seen at the catwalks of Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, Balmain and Off White.
